We're going back to Palestine! Who wants to join us? June 2023
After several years of waiting due to Covid, we're SO pleased to announce we're finally returned this June 2023!
We have TWELVE SPOTS to fill (first spot options went to our previously cancelled on 30 volunteers from the 2020 trip), and it will be a first come, first serve basis. Whichever 12 fill out their booking forms and send in their deposits first will be joining us, so please reply quickly if you're interested!
The dates for the trip are: Monday, June 12th- Thursday, June 22nd, 2023.
We will be flying out as a group from London to Tel Aviv, and returning as a group from Tel Aviv to London.
The full cost of the trip is £1,950. This includes all flights, hotels, food, transportation, etc (more below).
We've gone to Palestine several times now, and this is a pretty good blog on what the experience is like, where we went on this particular trip (it would vary slightly but the important visits would remain the same), that should hopefully give you an idea - it's here when you get a second.
We partner with a UK based organisation named Amos Trust for the actual trip - they have been working in Palestine for 28 years and are firmly entrenched on the ground with guides, best food spots, hotels, etc. As such, the trip is led by myself and a guide from Amos named Nive, as well as local day guides while on the ground in Palestine/Israel.
Safety will always be our number one priority and it is completely safe to go, you will not be put in any dangerous or risky situations. I know there is a lot on the news at the moment, but any news you see will always focus on the singular bad thing that has happened, and never mentions the overwhelming level of normality that is happening all around. For the first time ever, we're struggling to book hotel rooms because of how many tourists are visiting - what this tells us is that tens of thousands of tourists are visiting Israel at the moment and tens of thousands more are coming. We have many options on a daily basis and keep the schedule flexible to avoid any areas of tension, and we have many trusted sources on the ground we meet with daily in planning sessions to assess all of this. We take safety extremely seriously and would not go on this trip were we not completely sure of being able to provide a stress free experience.
